All of the portraits shown were done point-and-shoot with my iPhone. Some of them were then digitally... should I say "reworked"?

Well, I drew on them and then did some photo(shop)ography until I thought they were "just so". Some people look for in-the-flesh likeness in portraits. But I say that we all are stories, so I couldn't care less if they are faithful to reality or not.

In a portrait the artist and the subject meet halfway for the viewer's eye. Please don't think that portraits are telling the truth, or lying: they hide as much as they reveal.
